Fortnite patch 4.3 adds rideable shopping carts, mushrooms, voice chat for iOS, and more
Downtime is still on but Epic Games just posted Patch 4.3 for Fortnite that has a few nice additions.
Shopping Carts are rideable and present in the map. You can even push someone else in a shopping cart and ride one. Fall damage is enabled here. On iOS, Voice chat is finally implemented and I look forward to people yelling while playing this in public.
On the foraging front, Mushrooms will now be present in swampy areas or shady wooded areas and they give you 5 Shield that stacks up to 100.
There are now UI elements in match that show you challenge progress as well. This is great if you keep track of those things are care about your level. The patch is now live but the servers should be up soon. Full patch notes are here.
Fortnite is available on iOS, PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. It is coming to Android in Summer.
