Wulverblade brings 2D gore to Nintendo Switch on October 12
Looking to reignite the glory days of 90s hack’n’slash Wulverblade comes to the Nintendo Switch eShop this week.
The developers cite games like Golden Axe and Knights of the Round as inspirations for the game’s core concept, a side-scrolling fighter where you really hack and slash your foes to bits. Heads will roll across eight levels of flesh and blade action.
It’s certainly a far cry from where Nintendo was in the 90s and greying out the blood and taming the fatalities in Mortal Kombat. You can get killing in 3 days.
