The Witcher 3 patch with PS4 Pro support is now available
CD PROJEKT RED just released a patch with PS4 Pro support for PS4 owners of The Witcher 3.
Having originally just been announced to get Xbox One X Enhancements, The Witcher 3 was later confirmed to get PS4 Pro support as well. CDPR have been tight lipped (understandably), about what to expect for both upgraded consoles. If you own The Witcher 3: GOTY edition, the patch is little under 113MB and patch notes only say PS4 Pro Support added. There isn’t more information available as of now but if you own it, go ahead and download the update to check to see what’s new. I’ll update this post when the detailed patch notes are live. I definitely don’t expect 60fps on the Pro but am interested to see what they have done. Here’s a video from Digital Foundry of how it has evolved on PS4:
