Overwatch Esports developer update posted focussed on spectator changes
Blizzard just posted a new Developer Update for Overwatch discussing the improvements to the esports aspect.
The team has been hard at work on improving the viewing experience for the esports side of things. Watch Jeff Kaplan disucss the upcoming changes below:
These improvements will be visible during Blizzcon:
Team uniforms/colour palettes
Top-down interactive maps
Third-person smart cameras
Kill feed replays
An automated tournament interface
Auto-pauses for disconnections
