Every HTC Vive purchase now comes with FallOut 4
A new and exciting VR bundle has been announced for those of us who are considering jumping into virtual reality this winter.
From October 2nd every purchase of a HTC Vive will come with a free code for FallOut 4, with the post-apocalyptic adventure being completely recreated for VR.
FallOut 4 will be available from December 12th and features reimagined combat, crafting and building systems specifically for VR.
Joel Breton, GM of Vive Studios, said: “Fallout 4 VR is the most anticipated title for VR this holiday, and the game development team at Bethesda Game Studios is delivering on the promise with a full-length AAA open-world game that takes advantage of Vive’s incredible room-scale immersion for a mind-blowing experience in the Wasteland.
“The promise of a game with near endless content, including hundreds of locations, characters, and quests, fully playable in VR, is something that we have been focused on providing for the VR gaming community. We are now thrilled to provide this incredible game to new Vive owners and eagerly look forward to game’s launch on Vive this December.”
Outside of the bundle, FallOut 4 VR is a separate purchase on Steam for everyone who owns the base game and is valued at £39.99.
