Dual Universe trailer celebrates the game’s Pre-Alpha release
Dual Universe was successfully funded through Kickstarter to the tune of $1m last year, and it’s just launched its Pre-Alpha build to Gold Founder backers.
The game appears to be a more detailed No Man’s Sky, allowing you to dig or build wherever you want, and if you see a planet way off in the distance from the planet you’re on, you’ll be able to fly to it. This is made possible with what the developers call the ‘Continuous Single-Shard Cluster’ (CSSC), which allows potentially millions of players to inhabit the same universe, and a voxel engine that allows them to do with it what they like.
The game’s official website can be found here. No word on a release date at this point, but it does certainly look very pretty.
