CODE VEIN gets new screenshots, and a few new gameplay details
We’ve got some new screenshots of the ‘Dark Souls but anime’ game CODE VEIN, and they still look pretty good.
Cheif among the new images are pictures taken from the character creator results, which if anything proves that no matter how much the game borrows from the FROM Software titles the hanky character creator isn’t one of them.
There will be a stamina gauge that will limit all your actions, as well as a system where a partner character will aid you in battle either by enhancing your skills or healing you from their own health pool. As well as this players will be able to increase their abilities in battle using the focus system, very handy if you’re in a pinch, or you can use up to eight ‘gifts’, which will increase you attack or defensive stats.
The game’s not due out until 2018, but that’s only four months away, so not much longer now. You’ll be able to get it on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
