The Call of Duty Endowment has launched in the UK.
The first of the personalization packs to be made available launches on September 8 in the UK with proceeds going towards Endowment Programmes. The US fund that helps veterans find high quality employment is now expanding into the UK. General James L Jones is the co-chair who is the former NATO commander and national security advisor to Barack Obama. The Endowment found 25000 veterans jobs 2 years ahead of schedule and is aiming for 50000 by 2019. Veterans have captured more than 1.3 billion pounds in first year salaries through this programme. Partnerships will be formed with select UK charity groups and these will be announced in the next few months. Black Ops III gets a Double Duty Calling card designed by Treyarch that will let you view a service member transform in front of your eyes into a civilian on the way to work allowing donations to be seen impact wise. The pack also includes three rare supply drops and all proceeds received by Activision from the UK go to the Endownment. Dan Goldenberg, Executive Director of The Endowment commented on this launch:
“Our expansion to the UK was a natural move–with a long-standing ally whose armed forces have served so closely with those of the US.”
