HP reveals the OMEN X laptop, with an i7 CPU and a GTX 1080
There’s another super powerful gaming laptop coming to market from HP and it’s designed to help you get the most out of its innards.
Encased in an military aircraft sleek black design so popular with gaming rigs, the unit has advanced thermal management to allow it to stay cool under heavy load, and it will have a heavy load, as it comes with a suite of overclocking utilities to push the already overclocked i7 Intel CPU and GTX 1080 card beyond their factory limits.
While the machine has a 17 inch screen, it’s only a 1080p panel, but you can output to a 4K HDTV and play 4K if you so wish. Outside of that actual specs aren’t available at the moment, but you can expect more information as we get closer to the mooted November release, and you can be certain they’ll justify the €2,799 price tag.
