New Defenders event coming to Marvel Heroes Omega

Gazillion Inc has today announced that a brand new Defenders event will launch today for Marvel Heroes Omega on both Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The event will pitch players against The Hand for a variety of limited-time rewards. Also included in today’s event will be Elektra as a new playable hero.

To celebrate the new addition to the roster there will be a new Hell’s Kitchen Loot Box which contains new console costumes for Elektra, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Punisher.

Also included in the announcement was the mention of the imminent debut of the Omega Prestige system on the console versions. To start with Omega Prestige will only be available for Spider-Man, but there are plans to make more heroes available in future updates. Achieving Omega Prestige with your characters will unlock some of the most powerful moves for your characters as well as extending the levelling process considerably.
