MOTHERGUNSHIP aims to bring bullet-hell and FPS together in one glorious marriage of carnage, and it looks like it might do that.
In the ‘Resistance’ trailer above you’ll see enough explosions to make Michael Bay blush and more fireworks than a Disneyland presentation. Players will find themselves aboard a spacecraft fighting procedurally generated enemies en route to fighting the game’s big bad boss.
The developers are looking to give you a laugh alongside the relentless shooting action and the trailer is indicative of that desire, the humour even finds its way into the gun crafting mechanic, with you able to produce a vast array of outlandish munitions.
MOTHERGUNSHIP is out in 2018 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC
