Hot on the heels of the price increase, Sony is offering new and old subscribers 3 free months of PlayStation Plus for subscribing for 12 months on the PlayStation Store. This offer is valid for both new and old subscribers which is rare because most offers apply only to new subscribers. The offer is also valid only for buying it from the PlayStation store. It will end on August 29. The subscription right now costs 39.99 pounds. It will increase to 49.99 pounds at the end of the month on August 31 to be specific.
