CI Games have announced that the release date of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has been pushed back by 3 weeks, from April 4, to April 25 after receiving feedback from players during the beta.
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 sets players in the role of Jonathon North, an American sniper dropped into Georgian enemy territory near to the Russian border, and tells a story of brotherhood, faith and betrayal. The game’s large open maps will feature dynamic weather and a play altering day/night cycle, forcing players to make tactical decisions on the fly as they strive for one of the Sniper, Ghost or Warrior pillars.
“We’ve worked tirelessly creating a whole new Sniper Ghost Warrior experience set in an ambitiously crafted open world new to the series,” said said Marek Tyminski, CEO of CI Games. “While it’s an unfortunate decision to delay the game one last time, we believe these final changes will result in a better experience for players worldwide on day one. Thank you for your patience – we know the wait will be worth it.”
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 now launches on April 25 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
