Rumour: Destiny 2 will release on September 8
Destiny 2 will release on September 8 if the poster spotted by LEGA NETWORK is real.
LEGA NETWORK has gotten hold of a poster for Destiny 2 that has some interesting bits of note on it. Assuming the poster is real, there will be PS4 exclusive content as expected. Sony’s deal with Bungie and Activision for Destiny has been very successful for the parties involved. There will also be a beta for Destiny 2 that will most likely be available on PlayStation 4 first. Destiny (1) had a marketing deal with Sony for PS4 and we saw exclusive and timed exclusive content for PS4. September is a safe bet for the release but as of now, nothing is known aside from them wanting to release a full sequel to Destiny in 2017.
Destiny 2 is rumoured to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
UPDATE: Jason Schreier of Kotaku says the poster is real and he expects the announcement at some point today.
