Stranger of Sword City Revisited announced for North American release

Experience Inc. brings an updated release of Stranger of Sword City to Vita in North America later this month.

I reviewed Stranger of Sword City back in April on the Vita. It was around this time that an enhanced release was announced for Japan in the form of New Interpretation Stranger of Sword City. I didn’t think this version would be released outside Japan but Experience Inc., the developers have done it themselves. They will release Stranger of Sword City Revisited on February 28 as a digital title in North America for PlayStation Vita. No word on a European release yet or the possibility of a physical release or even update for Xbox One or PC versions of the vanilla game.

The Vita version will cost $29.99. Experience Inc. announced 75% off and 50% off sales respectively for both the Xbox One and Steam releases of Stranger of Sword City to celebrate 100k sales worldwide.

Stranger of Sword City Revisited will release in North America for PlayStation Vita digitally on February 28.

Update: I asked Experience Inc. about a physical version through Limited Run Games and they had this to say to me:

For a physical version of the game we currently have no plans on working with Limited Run Games.
