Check the app stores, Fire Emblem Heroes is out now!
Nintendo’s latest foray into mobile gaming is Fire Emblem Heroes, and if you check the Google Play or Apple App store you can get it now.
The game is a strategy RPG in the typical Fire Emblem mode but adapted for smart device screens and for bite size gaming chunks. You’ll need to flick, swipe and drag to clear the enemies off of the map to achieve victory then level up your army to improve your chances later on.
With typical JRPG melodrama enemies will become friends and friends will become enemies; related to this the game is free (Nintendo, friend) but there will be (optional) in-app purchases (Nintendo, enemy) later on Nintendo will add new characters gameplay content and modes (such as Player vs Player) to the game (Nintendo, friend again), so there’s a lot in this pint sized package for you to get your teeth into.
