Prey launching worldwide on May 5, new trailer released
Bethesda have announced that their Prey reboot will launch worldwide on May 5, available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Developed by the team behind Dishonored, Arkane Studios, Prey originally started as Prey 2–a direct sequel to Human Head Studios’ 2006 title Prey. After years of development hell, Bethesda eventually scrapped the project in 2014 then during their E3 2016 conference, announced Prey, a reimagining of the original game.
Taking place aboard the Talos I space station, protagonist Morgan Yu must fend off a horde of black, oozy organisms that are taking over the ship. Using his abilities, Yu is able to morph into objects in the surrounding environments to avoid detection or reach difficult locations. This sounds lame on paper, but it looks far better in action in the trailer below.
