Dragon Quest XI opening shown off as it aims for a 2017 release

Square Enix just showed off some new footage for Dragon Quest XI at Jump Festa.

The footage shows off both the PS4 and 3DS versions of Dragon Quest XI. I still love how 3DS users get the option of playing with sprite based visuals like the older games or in 3D. Here’s direct feed footage of the game running on both platforms:

Dragon Quest XI is also confirmed to launch on Nintendo Switch (NX).
