The Martian VR Experience is set to release tomorrow
Fox Innovation Lab have announced that their first virtual reality title, The Martian VR Experience, will be released tomorrow, November 15, for Vive and PSVR.
The space survival simulator will see players put into the shoes of Mark Watney as he performs tasks that are essential to keeping himself alive, such as steering in zero gravity and driving a Rover, and allow them to experience several key scenes from the film in virtual reality. The game is being directed by Robert Stromberg and features Ridley Scott as it’s Executive Producer.
“I’ve always tried to approach filmmaking from the standpoint of creating an immersive experience. Now with the tools that are available to us in virtual reality, we can raise the bar even higher. The audience can experience storytelling in ways we previously could only imagine,” said Ridley Scott, Executive Producer of The Martian VR Experience.
