The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition has gone gold

Bethesda have revealed that the remastered special edition of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim has gone gold plus the full requirements for the game’s PC version and the necessary console storage.

The Special edition of Skyrim will bring a significant overhaul to the game’s visuals, including remastered art and effects, volumetric lighting, dynamic depth of field, screen-space reflections and new snow and water shaders as well as supporting native 4K support on the PlayStation 4 Pro. This will also mark the first time mods will be supported for the game on console when it launches on October 28.
