Mafia III is seemingly locked to 30 fps on PC
After a streamer mentioned this, PC Gamer’s Andy Kelly posted about the framerate for the PC version of Mafia III being capped at 30fps.
After not having review copies before launch for Mafia III, this does not bode well. PC Gamer also posted that they tried multiple things but the frame rate is capped at 30fps. There have also been a lot of posts on Steamcommunity as well with negative reviews pointing out the frame rate cap. Mafia III was confirmed to get PlayStation 4 Pro support today. I’m not sure if or when this will be fixed for PC Gamers but keep it in mind if you were looking forward to Mafia III on PC.
Mafia III will release tomorrow on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
