Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel brings PvP-exclusive map, new weapons and more

UPDATE: PlayStation have shared that Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel will release worldwide on October 25, as well as sharing a link to a trailer.

Bandai Namco has provided a few new details on the upcoming DLC for their unforgiving RPG Dark Souls III.

The first bundle of downloadable content, titled Ashes of Ariandel is set for release October 25, and will feature a PVP-exclusive map called Immortal Completion. There are no images of the new map yet, only a name. Also coming as part of the package will be new weapons, including a sword that appears to release colourless flames and new magic, including a blizzard spell.

A new snow-covered area will also be part of it, but there are no images or further details on this. Those who purchase the season pass on PSN will receive an exclusive PS4 theme.
