Bandai Namco has revealed some new information about Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 at E3, including new modes, features and story details.
The story will focus on the history of Dragon Ball universe and how some evil intruders aim to destroy and change everything that has come before. It will be an action-fighting game similar to the first one, featuring MMO and RPG elements where you can explore the massive world of Dragon Ball.
Familiar enemies like Slug will do their best to cause chaos, but it will be the Time Patrollers who will stand up and fight, gathering in a huge new city called Conton City, 7 times bigger than Toki Toki City from the first Dragon Ball Xenoverse. From this new city (which will allow 300 simultaneous players in at the same time), players will be able to pick up quests, train at the school, buy cool stuff, enter fights and more. Each playable race will have different rewards for their missions, adding even more depth to your journey to save the world.
It has also been announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will have a local versus mode featuring different environments to fight in, running at 60 fps on all platforms, meaning smoother visuals and an all-round better experience.
Last but not least, it has been confirmed that DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 will have a local versus mode with several environments to duke it out in; and that the will run at 60 fps on all platforms, allowing for a smoother experience with highly animated fights.
