Bethesda has released key launch details on it’s DOOM reboot ahead of release next Friday, May 13, including PC requirements and precise launch times.
In order to meet the minimum specs, a 64 bit version of windows, 7 or later, will be required along with 8GB of RAM, 55 GB of HDD space, an Intel Core i5-2400 or AMD FX-8320 processor and a 2GB Nvidia GTX 670 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 graphics card. A broadband internet connection and steam activation will also be required to access online multiplayer, as expected.
DOOM and it’s servers will be launched in each region at 12AM local time, although Xbox One and PS4 players in Japan will have to wait until May 19. In preparation, PC and Playstation 4 users will have the option to pre-load the game starting on May 11, while lucky Xbox One owners can do so already.
