Microsoft have announced at their Build developer conference that their Windows 10 Anniversary Update will launch this summer, rolling out to all Microsoft devices including Xbox One.Â
The update will bring universal apps which work on both Windows 10 and Xbox One, essentially turning all Xbox One consoles into dev kits as developers will be able to create UWP apps and games on PC and integrate them easily to run on Xbox One. A tweet from the official Windows developer account reads:

Terry Myerson, executive vice president of the Windows and Devices group, said that the update will allow Xbox One to deliver “all Windows 10 apps into the living room”.
