PlayStation Camera sales up 975% since PSVR announcement

The sales of PlayStation Camera have skyrocketed since the price and release date announcement of Sony’s highly-anticipated virtual reality headset.

VideoGamer.com have reported that the sales of the PlayStation Camera, which is required for PlayStation VR to function, have increased an astonishing 975 percent since the announcement last night — causing the accessory to jump from no. 215 to no. 20 in the Amazon sales ranks.

Similarly, the PSVR compatible Move controllers have seen a 305 percent increase in sales along with the PS4 Camera Stand which is up 243 percent. It seems all things PlayStation are hot potatoes right now, with PlayStation VR selling out on Amazon within ten minutes of going live.
