It looks like Miitomo might not be launching this month after all

Nintendo’s first smartphone app Miitomo was set to launch in the west some time before the end of March, but that doesn’t appear to be the case any more.

NintendoInquirer have pointed out that the official Miitomo website has been scrubbed of any mention of a March release window, and after some investigation they’re spot on. Checking the website earlier in the week, I definitely saw pop-ups saying it was launching this month which now appear to have vanished.

Miitomo launched in Japan on March 16, shooting to the top of the app charts with the game managing to rake in over one million players in just three days. No official word from Nintendo just yet regarding Western release, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up about seeing Miitomo this side of April.

Miitomo will be available on iOS and Android.
