Pre-registration for Nintendo’s Miitomo is now open
Nintendo has announced that the pre-registration phase of it’s Miitomo launch is now open for applications.
Players wishing to get their hands on Miitomo when it launches next month must create a new Nintendo Account during sign-up, but are able to quickly do so by linking it to their Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus or Nintendo ID. Those of pre-registers between now and the launch of Miitomo will also receive Platinum Points as a special bonus, to use in the new My Nintendo rewards programme.
Nintendo’s free-to-play social app will launch sometime next month, and will allow players to create a Mii and chat and play with friends. Players who already own a Nintendo device will be able to transfer their Mii’s into Miitomo using a QR code. You’ll also be able to customise your Mii to a higher degree than usual, changing clothes, hairstyles and accessories.
