XCOM 2 composer revealed, soundtrack releasing on February 5
2K and Firaxis just announced that Tim Wynn, the award-winning composer of Supernatural and XCOM: Enemy Unknown fame, is doing the score for XCOM 2. This soundtrack will be available in the Digital Deluxe Edition of XCOM 2 and also on iTunes on February 5.
XCOM 2’s soundtrack has emotional orchestral themes and ambient sci-fi sounds just like Enemy Unknown. Tim Wynn’s score for XCOM 2 will be his second entry in the XCOM music after writing music for Enemy Unknown. He has also done music for the TV show Supernatural and some games in the Command & Conquer series.
XCOM 2 is set to launch on February 5 on PC. There is a Mac and Linux version being done by Feral Interactive as well.
