Ubisoft and ESL have partnered to create the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League, an international competition to find the best Rainbow Six Siege players.
The League will be split into multiple disciplines, with both PC and Xbox One divisions as well as Europe and North American divisions. Things kick off with the European PC division at the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice on March 4. Following that other divisions will start up and will conclude with a LAN event where the best from NA and EU will compete against each other for $50,000 on each platform.
Xavier Marquis, creative director on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege had this to say about the new league.
“Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege was built from the ground up with competition in mind. We’re excited to partner with ESL, one of the biggest names in eSports, to deliver a league for Rainbow Six Siege fans to compete and enjoy the game they love.”
