CCP Games has today announced that the consumer testing of their brand new game EVE: Valkyrie will enter its alpha phase on January 18. Anyone that owns an Oculus Rift DK2 headset can sign up here for testing.
EVE: Valkyrie is a multiplayer dogfighting shooter that has been designed from the ground up, and has been built using the very latest in virtual reality technology. Access to EVE: Valkyrie opened up with pre-orders of the Oculus Rift (at a whopping $599), which opened up today. The game will be available when the VR headset launches, and for those that plan on getting the PlayStation VR instead, EVE: Valkyrie will be available at launch on that.
VR is coming this year and if you are incredibly keen on experiencing it, go pre-order at Oculus shop.
