Black Ops 3 Leads the Charts as We Say Goodbye to 2015

by on January 4, 2016

As we herald in the new year, 2015 ended very well for Black Ops 3 as it sat comfortably atop of the UK Game Charts, making it five weeks in the lead. The force is strong with EA, as Star Wars: Battlefront did very well over Christmas and managed to remain at number two, with the post-apocalyptic masterpiece that is Fallout 4 finding its way up to number three.

FIFA 2016 was the biggest selling game of the year, but it had to settle for fourth place, whilst GTA V remained steadfast at number five. Up three places to number six is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege (its highest chart entry to date) and the wonderful Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate remains at number seven.

Just Cause 3 manages to hold on at number eight and WWE 2K16 is sat nicely at number 9. Rounding off the gorgeously solid top ten is Forza Motorsport 6 at number 10, cementing 2015 as one of the greatest gaming years in recent history.
