Tales of the Rays Announced for Smartphones
Bandai Namco has announced the first mobile incarnation of their long-running Tales of series, titled Tales of the Rays.
Gematsu reports that the game is set in “Tir na Norg,” a world that produces unlimited energy thanks to the chiral molecule. But when a shadow of destruction approaches this world full of light, the journey of Ikusu, a “Kagamishi” boy able to manipulate magic, begins.
Not much other information was announced, but it is slated for a 2016 release. For now, it seems the game will only receive release in Japan with a Western roll-out unconfirmed by the publisher. Watch the first teaser trailer above.
