Palmer Luckey, founder of OculusVR Inc. has said that the Oculus Rift is still on-target for a Q1 release despite little being said regarding it’s manufacturing or marketing.
In a tweet, he said:
Thrilled to share some news: Manufacturing continues to go well, and we are still on-target for an awesome Rift launch in Q1!

Oculus appears to be one of the first VR headsets to reach market in terms of the high-end, with Vive delayed to an April launch due to a “very big technological breakthrough” and PlayStation VR releasing some time in 2016. Samsung VR, co-developed with Oculus, was released this month for Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
