Fractured Space to Debut at Insomnia Games Festival This Month
Edge Case Games will debut their new team-based space combat game Fractured Space to the public at this month’s Insomnia Games Festival, which is being held at the Birmingham NEC from December 11 to 14.
Players will battle each other in gigantic spaceships, which compiles the “the intensity of a shooter and the big-picture-thinking of a strategy game”. Following the release of the mode Frontline, attendees will be able to experience the full-on combat that the game has to offer.
“We are thrilled to attend Insomnia this year and we have planned a lot of prizes and giveaways for players. From a specific in-game badge, to a free code for everyone that brings their own computer. There will be something for everyone coming to see us” said Sam Bennett, Community Director at Edge Case Games.
The game originally launched on Steam Early Access in November 2014, where the developers encouraged players to voice their opinions on the game. “We are very excited to have reached this important milestone. We are actively listening to players to help us shape the final vision of the game in preparation of our public launch in 2016” said James Brooksby, CEO of Edge Case Games.
A new trailer to celebrate the game’s public debut has been released, showcasing the vast USR Destroyer Ship. See it above.
