Activision has Last gen Destiny Player’s Backs with Free 32GB Flash Drives

Worried about your old console’s space requirements with regards to installing The Taken King? Activision has you covered.

A while back Bungie revealed the storage requirements for upgrading to Destiny’s forthcoming expansion The Taken King. PS4 and Xbox One users will need to make sure they have 18GB of space available, PS3 users will need 20GB, while Xbox 360 users will get away with 10GB of space.

Naturally, these figures are worrying to users of some of the older console users as some models of 360 and PS3s had small hard drive variants for cheap, and these people may not have the cash to upgrade. Not only that, but previous expansions and updates will have taken their toll on the remaining storage space.

Bungie stated that anyone with a storage problem should contact Destiny’s publisher; Activision. Activision’s response? To send out free 32GB hard drives for those people. Quite a nice gesture, but it’ll be interesting to see how this works as The Taken King’s files need to be on the actual machines Hard Drive.

If you are one of these people worried about your storage requirements you can contact Activision support and see if they can do this for you.
