Skyshine’s Bedlam Gets Official Release Date
Today, independent developer Skyshine and publishers Versus Evil have announced that their post-apocalyptic strategy game Bedlam will be released on September 17. The game will be available to digitally download on PC.
Implementing the Banner Saga engine, Bedlam is a rogue-like turn-based strategy game set in an over the top, dystopian future where teams of rogue factions threaten to destroy you at every turn. You play as an enigma known simply as the mechanic, whose mission is to deliver a vehicle full of passengers to a distant utopia known as Aztec City. Taking huge inspirations from Mad Max, Judge Dredd, Heavy Metal and Borderlands, Bedlam looks set to be incredibly fun and challenging, and with the promise of “vomiting monsters, killer robots and gruesomely funny deaths,” you’ll be wanting to check this out when it is released.
