The last piece of 16 free pieces of DLC that developers CD Projekt RED have released in support of their latest title, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is being rolled out this week – and it’s a big one.
Wild Hunt is getting a New Game Plus mode, meaning you can start the epic story over again but carry other items like armour, weapons and potions. However, quest items, letters, books and Gwent cards will not stick with you.
The DLC has been released on Xbox Live, possibly prematurely, but it would be safe to suggest that it won’t be long before it arrives on PS4 and PC too, probably by the end of the week.
With the pre-planned free content drops now all done, CDPR may well now turn their attention to the two announced story expansions for the game, entitled ‘Hearts of Stone’ and ‘Blood and Wine’. The former is due to release this October, with the latter coming early in 2016.
