Blizzard Announce World of Warcraft: Legion at Gamescom

Blizzard have announced the title of the new expansion coming to World of Warcraft live at Gamescom 2015.

World of Warcraft: Legion has been in development “for a while now” according to Blizzard, and will pick up where Warlords of Draenor left off in terms of story. Set on The Broken Isles, players will be able to explore the islands and must fend off “the biggest demonic invasion” of Azeroth to date.

The Broken Isles were first mentioned in World of Warcraft 3 but have been a bit of an enigma ever since. The continent was one the lively motherland of the Night Elf civilisation, but is now deserted. It seems that players will be able to enter the Emerald Nightmare as well as the Emerald Dream.

The level cap has been increased to 110, and the expansion will include plenty of new dungeons and raids.
