Square Enix and DONTNOD Entertainment were the devs to beat at Develop Conference in Brighton this year, taking home two awards for their episodic adventure title Life is Strange.
The game won the award for Best New IP, beating fierce competition from Dying Light and Grow Home, as well taking home the gong for Best Use of Narrative, trumping titles such as Sunless Sea and Valiant Hearts.
Luc Baghadoust, Producer at DONTNOD Entertainment said: “To win two awards in one evening was quite unbelievable. To see the team’s hard work recognised in award form is truly fantastic, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.”
The first three episodes of Life is Strange are available now on Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
