Dirty Bomb is a Cool Free Game
Remember Brink? Well, although it wasn’t amazingly well received by critics (although we gave it an 8/10 back in 2011, so up yours, rest of the internet), it did gather a bit of a cult following for having some interesting ideas. Splash Damage, developers of Dirty Bomb, also made Brink, so it’s fair to say they know how to make a shooter.
This one is free to play right now on Steam, and although I’ve not played a trillion hours of it, you should probably grab it for yourself, and give it a go. It’s an open beta now, and there does seem to be some balancing issues, but what’s here is very polished.
