Insomnia 54 Returned to the Ricoh and Sold It out

This past weekend saw Insomnia 54 take place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The event managed to completely sell out a few days prior to starting and has been hailed as a massive success for the new branch of UK retailer GAME.

The event consisted of multiple LAN halls for those with BYOC tickets to play to their heart’s content, along with a expo hall full of playable games and hardware exhibitors and the main stage that featured presentations and interviews with some of the industries finest.

However the real fun took place at the eSports stage, hidden beneath the frantic expo halls and main stage. Here some of the UK’s and Europe’s best players battled it out across a number of tournaments including the Emerge Dota 2 event that featured ODPixel and Rusts on casting duty anlong with some of the UK’s biggest hopes for ever appearing at The International.
