You may remember towards the start of the year that the StarLadder 11 LAN finals were plagued by visa issues that saw no Chinese teams take part and a number of stand-in CIS teams make an appearance. Well StarLadder has decided that enough is enough and to prevent any further issues is moving its LAN finals to Romania instead of Ukraine.
The move will be the first StarLadder finals not to be held in Ukraine, and will see a $80,000 prize pool along with travel support for all teams. The finals will take place in Bucharest from April 24-26.
As ever the long StarLadder qualification process is set to kick off in the coming weeks, you can see all the action on Twitch or in game by purchasing the ticket.
