EA and Visceral Games have announced an exclusive membership program for Battlefield Hardline which will provide early access to story-based expansion packs, monthly rewards as well as premium in-game events and items.
The program, titled Battlefield Hardline Premium, comes with four “super features”; masks, which provide unique abilities depending on it’s theme; the gun bench which allows players to visually customise weapons and track kills per weapon; premium-only tournaments and ladders and a legendary status which provides replayability of the ranking system (similar to Call of Duty’s Prestige).
Adopters of the service will be able to download the four planned expansion packs two weeks before general release: the Criminal Activity, Robbery, Getaway and Betrayal expansions due for periodic release over the next ten months. Premium users will also get priority server queueing, access to exclusive Battlefield Premium event such as double XP as well as new personalisation for weapons, like gun camo and ammo skins. Membership for the service will cost £39.99.
Battlefield Hardline is due for release on March 19 in Europe, and will be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
