Polish developers Techland today released a live-action short film based on Dying Light gameplay via the game’s official YouTube channel.
The film, titled “The Last Supply Drop”, shows four survivors getting picked off one by one as they try to navigate the ravaged slums to reach an airdrop loaded with crucial supplies. Filmed in collaboration with Flying Carpet Studios, the 3-minute clip attempts to bring Dying Light to life by exhibiting some of the game’s key features such as parkour, car bomb traps and a fan-favourite: dropkick attacks.
The short film was released to coincide with the physical release of Dying Light on February 27 after being delayed in the middle of January for unknown reasons. The digital edition of the game has been available to purchase since January 27.
