Insomnia Gaming Festival Has Record Year

The Insomnia Gaming festival has posted record numbers from their three events in 2014.

A 60% increase in footfall against previous years has seen the Insomnia events become the number one gaming festival in the UK. Those who couldn’t attend also showed their support with over 45m users engaging through Twitch, YouTube and Flickr while over 1.4m logged onto the Insomnia website.

At Insomnia 53 I sat down with OD Pixel and Joe Show, two of the UK’s biggest Dota casters, to chat about competitive Dota in the UK.

The next Insomnia event takes place over the Easter weekend (April 3-6) at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. Tickets for the festival are on sale now.
