After the PSN Christmas time outages, which made it practically impossible for anyone to sign in to the PSN servers over the festive period, Sony have announced you’ll be able to claim your compensation of a one-time, 10% discount on the Play Station Store from this Friday.
You’ll be able to claim your discount from 9:00 AM GMT on January 23rd, until 9:00 AM on January 26th. This gives you a full three days to put your discount to good use and get money off eligible items across the PlayStation 4, Playstation 3, and PS Vita. You just have to redeem your code at the checkout.
You’ll be able to find the code on the Play Station Store or on your local Play Station Twitter account.
Some restrictions do apply, however, and you will not be able to use your discount on PS Plus subscriptions, Music Unlimited, and rental video content.
There’s a little something extra for those who had a Play Station Plus subscription whilst the service was down, and Sony have started giving out the five day PS+ extension. You won’t have to do anything to receive this, but you may receive an Email in the coming days confirming the details.
