D2L LAN Finals Set To Start In Vegas Tonight

In just a few hours (around 7pm UK time) the Dota 2 League Season 5 LAN Finals will start in Las Vegas. The event, which is being held in Caesar’s Palace, will see Evil Geniuses, Virtus.Pro Polar, CDEC and LV Gaming compete for 1st place and over $25,000 in the two day LAN finals.

Today kicks off with VPP taking  on CDEC in the first BO3, then EG will face LV later on, finally the two losers will face off in the first round of the lower bracket. Tomorrow will then see the winners of today’s first two series play in the winner’s bracket final, then the lower bracket final and eventually the grand finals.

Aaron “Ayesee” Chambers will be casting the event which you will be able to see on the D2L Twitch channel, or you can buy the ticket in game and contribute to the prize pool. Excitingly this event will be the first time we get to see the new Evil Geniuses roster in action after two of the team’s core members left the squad.
