Xbox One Outsells PS4 for the First Time
For the first time the Xbox One has outsold the PS4 in the US and UK according to sales tracking company NPD.
This is most likely due to significant price drops Microsoft has imposed on it’s console, as well as the many bundles available during the holiday season.
There was some good news for Nintendo as well, with the Wii U having it’s best week of sales since it launched in 2012, no doubt because of the launch of Super Smash Bros. U.
Console sales as a whole are up as well, with the Xbox one and PS4 showing an 80% increase compared to the first 13 months sales of the PS3 and 360.
