Microsoft’s Aaraon Greenberg has confirmed via a tweet that they are publishing the next instalment in the rebooted Tomb Raider franchise.
What this means is that it’s incredibly unlikely that it’ll see a console release anywhere else, unless it makes financial sense for Microsoft. That said, it doesn’t rule it out, as it was previously suggested that the exclusivity might be timed. I guess it’s best to see this in a similar fashion to the way Capcom let Microsoft take the reigns with Dead Rising 3, or how Nintendo lead the way with most Capcom or SEGA developed titles on the Wii U and 3DS.
